These Northern Types
In August 2018, we hosted the 'These Northern Types' book launch. The brain/lovechild of Oli Bentley from Split Design, this amazing, multi-faceted project found form in a beautiful boxed artefact made up of 17 separate books, which were skillfully printed and bound by local print marvels Pressision using a host of wonderful papers from Fedrigoni UK.

These Northern Types was the culmination of a year-long exploration of northern identity by Split, alongside a team of makers, printers, academics, writers, poets and musicians.
On the evening there were beers from North Brewing Co, live printing using the titanic People Powered Press (ably assisted by The Print Project) and music from DJ's from the Leaf Label.

The amazing exhibits which accompanied the project were on display in both our event space and in the Gallery at Munro House until the 15th of September.
