RRPL (Rock & Roll Public Library) showcases artefacts and ephemera from the extensive 20th Century pop culture archive collected and curated by British musician, songwriter and cultural crate digger Mick Jones. This is a collector's paradise, a whirlwind of nostalgic fragments and collaged curios that spark something inside, a (Peter) Blakeian fever dream.
Issue Two has 'that' London at its heart and brings us a report on the incredible exhibits held at the RRPL, an interview with with punk icon and author Viv Albertine, an article on Mick Jones' pre-punk band The Delinquents, a look back at the exploits of notorious London landlord Peter Rachman, a look at the films made in and around Notting Hill, and a profile on top punk badge maker, Better Badges. All these articles are set among pages and pages of book, film, television and music ephemera.
