A family-run, independent publisher, Cafe Royal Books, founded in 2005 by Craig Atkinson, has created an incredible body of work that presents a broad, and previously underrepresented spectrum of documentary-type photography, with links to the British Isles.
Colin Lourie is best known for his evocative black and white images capturing urban life and transportation in the mid-to-late 20th century, particularly in London and Edinburgh. This 36 page book includes some of his London images taken in the '70s.
