Ellie Way is a Wakefield-based printmaker whose practice is driven by placemaking. These images, all taken from the Leeds landscape, are inspired by early 20th Century travel posters and evoke a golden era of travel.
This postcard is exclusive to Colours May Vary and features our glorious home, Leeds Corn Exchange!
Designed by Cuthbert Brodrick, this extraordinary building was completed in 1863. It was a working Corn Exchange until the late 1980's when it was refurbished for use as a shopping centre.
Acquired by Rushbond in 2017 the building is a hub for creative independent businesses and is a must-see landmark. It is a real honour getting to work every day under this ridiculously beautiful roof and we are proud to be a tenant here!
This illustration of the iconic Corn Exchange has been printed on a matt paperstock A5 Postcard.
