King’s Road 1981–85 | Derek Ridgers

A family-run, independent publisher, Cafe Royal Books, founded in 2005 by Craig Atkinson, has created an incredible body of work that presents a broad, and previously underrepresented spectrum of documentary-type photography, with links to the British Isles.

Ridgers is a British photographer known for documenting street style, and these portraits, taken on the King's Road during the first half of the eighties, perfectly capture the essence of the London style tribes.
