Hand-drawn lettering can be a thing of rare beauty and this reprinted edition of a compendium, originally published in 1934, is full of stunning examples. The designs inside 'A Compilation of Contemporary Letter Designs' are by Katsumi Tsuji, a graphic designer working in the Taisho and Showa periods. Inside there are both Japanese character alphabets and Roman alphabets, plus a large selection of company logos, family crests, prefecture and governmental badges and school badges.
