Let them eat... steak! Steak Zine comes from the team behind the brilliant Cake Zine, and it's a beefy number, with over 200 pages of fiction and non-fiction that explores the cultural impact of red meat. Designer Noah Emrich has done a nice job on the presentation of this pocket-sized marvel too, with a lay-flat exposed spine to allow easy reading and alternating red/white paper stock and type running through like a nice marbled sirloin.
Inside - red leather and ribeye fuelled romances, The last days of Portland’s beloved strip club-steakhouse, Acropolis, the women going viral by eating raw meat online, the roots and uncertain future of Hong Kong’s sizzling steak, the body horror of cannibalist cinema and much more.
It's a well done from us!
