Inside:

In this special issue Glory celebrates a century and a half of green and white heritage. It explore the club’s historic moments, its impact on Scottish football, and its deep connection to its supporters, a community that has stuck with the club to the very brink and back again. Hibs’ founding, the pioneering European Cup run, the Famous Five, the greatest game in history and the extraordinary Hands off Hibs movement all feature, as well as, alongside Hibernian supporters, David Gray telling the story of that day in May, 2016. But this isn’t just a simple timeline. Famous Hibees including Irvine Welsh, Charlie Reid and Caroline Weir have shared their memories and experiences of the club, while Glory has sat down with heroes past and present – Pat Stanton, Yogi Hughes, Joelle Murray, Darren McGregor and Lewis Stevenson – to find out what Hibs means to them. Just as importantly, the club’s unsung heroes tell their stories – the Dunn family, Cliff Pike, Gavin Gillies, Alan Rennie – all working for years behind the scenes on making this a club to be proud of. The contents also examine the club’s iconic kits down the years, the stories of a couple of its most iconic signings and the sheer power of Sunshine on Leith – a fittingly unique anthem for a historically unique club.

Happy 150th, Hibernian FC. Here’s to the next chapters in a remarkable story.
