Matas Petrikas writes code, once founded a toy company, and started making electronic music back in the '90s. He still produces music and has founded a record label that puts out music. His book is for for kindred spirits, lovers of electronic music, maybe owners of a synthesiser or two (but this isn't compulsory). Matas hopes that his book will inspire other music creators and perhaps answer a few questions that they have been wrestling with.
Chapters, all which are written in a clear, and informative manner, tackle subjects like reading equipment manuals, the value of noise, classic instruments, drum machine fun, and Brian eno.
