Inside:

Looks like we got lucky.

The ever-excellent Disco Pogo have produced this handsome and fitting tribute to the legendary French dance duo Daft Punk.

This hardback book collates all the interviews and photos from the seminal Jockey Slut and spans the period from the early days on the Scottish Soma label (1993) up to the release of Discovery in 2001. the book continues to cover the rest of their tenure as one of the globe’s most influential electronic acts right up to their unexpected split in February 2021.

'We Were The Robots' features almost 30 articles on and with Daft Punk, beginning with their first ever interview with Jockey Slut in 1994 and ending with the band pulling the plug in 2021. There's an  introduction by Jockey Slut founder and Bugged Out promoter John Burgess, a discography (including one for both Thomas Bangalter and Guy Manuel), a double-page set list, a brilliant (one more) time line, and a lovely DP universe graphic detailing the bands influences, collaborators, and remixers. Oh, and there's a ton of beautiful photographs throughout.

*New edition features a new forward by David and Stephen Dewaele (better known as Soulwax and 2manydjs) and a bright red fabric spine.*
