Liu, who was born in the Hunan province of China, wrote the excellent Vegan Chinese Food last year, and this book starts back in her homeland and then moves South and East through Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, South Korea and Japan to bring us street food recipes that are an integral part of Asian cuisine.
