Bookshop Guide: Independent Publishing Culture Spots | Europe & North America | Paperside

Regular price £18.00

"Going into a bookshop gives you a boost of serotonin that equates with falling in love, a walk in the countryside, sun-kissed skin, birds chirping." (Gema Navarro, founder & creative director, Paperside)

Paperside are a Madrid-based publisher who aim to provide 'a meeting point for print culture enthusiasts seeking specialised content'. The Bookshop Guide is the first published fruits of their endeavour, and a handsome and beautifully published thing it is.

The guide, which presents a selection of independent bookshops found in 15 countries of Europe and North America, is an essential travel companion for the committed bibliophile. As well as the 'how do i find it?' details for each location, you'll find opening hours, the store's founding date (as well as the names of its founders), a brief introduction, social handles, and a selection of photos to hint at what you can expect.

We are delighted to be included in the section on the United Kingdom (of only two outside of the capital), and honoured to find ourselves rubbing shoulders with some of our favourite bookshops
