The posters of Golden Cabinet
In May this year (2019) Nick Loring (AKA The Print Project) brought his collection of 30 Golden Cabinet posters to our event space and we all supped magic Rock brews while gazing at the shapes and colours. Golden Cabinet is an experimental music night that takes place at the Kirkgate Centre in Shipley, and these posters spanned the first five years (2013 - 2018). When the next GC event happens, you should definitely go, even if it is to watch the windows of the Kirkgate Centre rattle and shake while you enjoy an inexpensive pint and some cake.

Nick's beautifully designed letterpress printed posters are a perfect visual companion to the ear-meltingly loud/brutal/electrifying and in-your-face experience that these gigs brought to this small West Yorkshire town. Bold, bright, overlaid geometry that dazzles the eyes and frazzles the brain.

Printed using a variety of materials, including washers, screws, MDF, lino, hardboard and metal type, most of which has been cut, formed, forged and set by hand, these are some of the best gig posters you'll ever set yer eyes on. It was a pleasure to have them in our space.
