At least the cover of the new Northern Earth is bringing us some blue skies; editor John Billingsley is hoping it will help manifest some good weather (fingers crossed john).
The new issue - pagan stones and christian visions at the root of Scotland's medieval sovereignty, doorheads and other symbolic carvings from vernacular buildings in Craven, unexpected convergences and radiating paths of a UFO skywatch location and witchcraft encounters in the Upper Calder Valley.
The big news is that John has found an editorial heir to his Northern Earth throne - and this means that the magazine will continue. We welcome Andrew Chapman and wish him well on his next 30+ years as editor!
