Mik Artistik delivered his book to us in the pouring rain. We watched him cross the road, under a deluge of raindrops in just a Tweed suit. He arrived dripping wet, smiling, a package under his arm - a copy of 'It's Irrelevant' lurked within.
The book began as a telephone conversation between Mik and Robert Galeta - ruminations on the people - the punks, the musicians, the writers - who had influenced and galvanized them. Mik took a misbehaving black pen and, in his inimitable style, drew them - and then both chaps reminisced on the page.
It's intimate, and, like a good covers album, isn't full of hoary old classics that you already know. There are things to discover here.
