ME&YOU&YOU&ME (White on Black) Screen-print | Anthony Burrill

Regular price £80.00

If you've walked down The Calls in Leeds lately, you'd have been hard-pushed not to notice the large-scale black and white typographic mural that sits 88 feet tall on the end of one of the brick canalside buildings.

You&Me&Me&You is by one-time Leeds Beckett (the Poly back then) student Anthony Burrill - who, using his signature letterpress style, has created an artwork that sings loudly and positively about the times we are living through. It's a simply put phrase that works because... well, because it's about collaboration, love, being together, working together, getting things done, getting on, understanding other perspectives, and all of the things that can make this place (city, country, world) a better place to be.

The mural was curated by our own Laura Wellington (working under her excellent 'In Good Company' role), funded by King and Co., and brought to life by Bread Collective. You and Me should be their motto - perhaps it is. Good work chaps.

This beautiful and powerful screen-print, which measures 50 x 70cm, is an open edition, signed in pencil by the artist. It comes in two colourways - this is the black on white edition.
