Ok, the fact that this beautiful book includes case studies on Miffy and Snoopy had us sold from the outset, but this is an proper good book on mascot design and development.
Starting from the evolution of mascots, the content includes the key points of mascot design (design orientation, style design, colour matching, etc.), classic case studies, and presentation and display options. This book is stuffed full of illustrations, and photos which give life to the characters within - many of which extend out of the usual Western canon (huge shout out to Rilakkuma who is a big shop favourite!).
This book would be perfect inspiration for graphic designers, illustrators and anyone interested in character design.
