This beautifully presented book (seriously, the die-cut dust jacket, lay flat binding and soft dog nose deboss are almost worth admission alone) showcases the work of 32 dog devoted illustrators and artists working in various media, including crayon, collage, watercolour and digital. Each brings their own character to the page, from super cute cartoon flatness, and misty, soft-focused dreamscapes to meticulous micro-pigment penmanship and joyfully expressionistic watercolours.
As for the breeds they're all here - pointy-nosed sight hounds, flat-faced pugs, dapper Dalmatians, and tenacious terriers. A brilliant addition to Victionary's illustration titles and a proper paws to force.
