For 2025 Karel Martens has developed this handsome tear-off calendar 'Every Day is a New Day, published by Roma.
For each day of the year, Martens has created a unique arrangement, originally constructed using his signature method of printing letterpress monoprints from found metal forms, and then digitized to comprise 365 compositions in total. The piece's reference to the daily practice of art is a microcosm of Martens's own approach as a designer and educator.
