Mushroom Fever tells the story of the New York Mycological Club, founded in 1897 by Cornelia C Bedford. Bedford, a cooking teaching and food writer, was intent on studying and eating wild fungi and her club was a place of lively events, foraging activities in Central Park, and mushroom dinners in Chinatown.
This neat, illustrated zine comes from New York-based artist and keen mycophile Phyllis Ma and comes in an edition of 200 copies.
