Inside the 60th issue of Uppercase - the beautiful print ephemera contained within the Printer's International Specimen Exchange anthologies, nine contemporary artists discuss colour exploration, children's book illustrator and author, Paulene Hübsch, talks about playing with colour, and the beautiful hand and loom-woven textiles of Margo Selby (cover artist).
Uppercase is put together by Janine Vangool who has a keen eye for contemporary crafts. It is beautifully printed on matte stock and the spine alone is a work of art. A pleasing and collectable publication. While the magazine looks at traditional craft, it is in no way nostalgic, it looks at contemporary applications and champions modern and inspiring craft.
