Domestic sewing machine ephemera, Poppy Dodge's painted patchworks (one of which adorns the cover), storytelling through quilt-making, and the reader's own art quilts - all of this and more make up the brand new Uppercase!
Uppercase is put together by Janine Vangool who has a keen eye for contemporary crafts. It is beautifully printed on matte stock and the spine alone is a work of art. A pleasing and collectable publication. While the magazine looks at traditional craft, it is in no way nostalgic, it looks at contemporary applications and champions modern and inspiring craft.
The illustrated quilt section, which brings us letterpress quilts, collaged quilts and painted quilts.
