Otto is a Graphic Artist working as a screen printer and book artist and whose imagery is inspired by the designs of the Russian Constructivists. Since 2010 he has run a print workshop near Bath and has self-published several screen printed books.
'Screen Printing Manual' is the first of Otto's series of 'how to' guides and it explains the principles of the screen printing process, including registration, screen sizes, printing and even cleaning up.
The book is a work of art in itself, with the 'text-block' screen printed on a single sheet, then sliced and folded into individual pages. The centre page spread folds out to double size to reveal one of 13 beautiful illustrations.
