Otto is a Graphic Artist working as a screen printer and book artist and whose imagery is inspired by the designs of the Russian Constructivists. Since 2010 he has run a print workshop near Bath and has self-published several screen printed books.
'Image Making' is the fourth in the series of screen printing manuals and it explains how Otto makes illustrations and which graphic devices he uses. It is useful not just for Screen printers but all image makers working with layers. All images found in this publication are of Snowdonia in Wales and very beautiful they are too.
The book is a work of art in itself, with the 'text-block' screen printed on a single sheet, then sliced and folded into individual pages. The centre page spread folds out to double size to reveal one of 13 beautiful abstract illustrations.
