Gardener and writer Susanna Grant explores her thoughts on the history, meaning, and value of nature in the city in this latest publication from Rough Trade Editions. ‘From Gardens Where We Feel Secure’ investigates the idea that naming species allows us to expand our understanding and our ways of looking at the world around us. Gardner throws a spotlight on five of her favourite wildflowers (with accompanying images by photographer Rowan Spray) and intersperses them with reflections on her own countryside childhood and her work in London’s community gardens.
This new Rough Trade Editions title forms part of a series made in partnership with the Garden Museum.
