Wrappers Delight brings together the collection of John Townsend which among many other things contained: disposable sweet wrappers, gum papers, bags of crisps, drink cans and rock labels!
It has taken us on a syrupy, highly coloured and not entirely naturally flavoured nostalgia trip back to our 1970's childhood.
Such ephemera is discarded and rarely valued at the time of production but it becomes a cultural and historical document. This publication is a wonderful time capsule containing over 500 full-colour items and is the only document of this period of confectionary!
