Uppercase #61 | Common Ground

Regular price £15.00

The new Uppercase looks to artists who use the landscape as muse or influence in their work. Inside you'll find the vibrant embroidered aerial artworks of Victoria Rose Richards (see cover), photographer, Jamie Ashworth, talks about engaging with the landscape in an act of co-creation, and contemporary artist, Linda Zacks, opens up her arboreal sketchbooks for us.

Elsewhere - artists talk about remixing and re-making their work, Emily Joyce talks about restoring paintings, and there's a gallery section featuring depictions of landscapes

Uppercase is put together by Janine Vangool who has a keen eye for contemporary crafts. It is beautifully printed on matte stock and the spine alone is a work of art. A pleasing and collectable publication. While the magazine looks at traditional craft, it is in no way nostalgic, it looks at contemporary applications and champions modern and inspiring craft.
