Uppercase #50

Regular price £14.00

The new Uppercase turns 50 with some style. The new issue explores the intersection of art and science, as well as rubber stamps and related printmaking concepts - inside you'll find the story of the rubber stamp, illustrations that make sense of scientific concepts, the art & science of cyanotypes, and a profile on Angie Barker, whose paintings (see cover) explore her molecular being within.

Uppercase is put together by Janine Vangool who has a keen eye for contemporary crafts. It is beautifully printed on matte stock and the spine alone is a work of art. A pleasing and collectable publication. While the magazine looks at traditional craft, it is in no way nostalgic, it looks at contemporary applications and champions modern and inspiring craft.
