Uppercase #44

Regular price £14.00

The new issue of Uppercase dedicates itself to geometry and volume. Inside we visit the London-based studio of Sophie Smallhorn, whose beautifully tactile work explores the relationships between colour, volume and proportion, examine the exquisitely painted paper sculpture of Andrew Ooi, and sit down to talk with Anna Mac about her architecturally flat paintings.

Uppercase is put together by Janine Vangool who has a keen eye for contemporary crafts. It is beautifully printed on matte stock and the spine alone is a work of art. A pleasing and collectible publication. While the magazine looks at traditional craft, it is in no way nostalgic, it looks at contemporary applications and champions modern and inspiring craft.

The incredible Memphis-like cake creations of Alison Dunlop and her A.R.D bakery.
