Bumble Magazine - Issue 2

Regular price £7.00

Inside:

The new issue of Bumble hits our shelves as the bluebells and blossoms are at their peak. Yes, this is the Spring issue of our favourite nature magazine, and it is a riot of UK fauna and flora. With articles on our recent summer wild fires and the effects of an early Spring on our environment, Bumble sound warning bells about the future of our wild countryside and natural ecosystems. However warnings are tempered with hope, and inside you'll find articles on conservation initiatives such as Back From The Brink who are trying to prevent the extinction of threatened UK species and community festivals like Wildside, which are bringing people together to celebrate nature. Elsewhere there are beautiful wild flowers, a focus on UK bat populations, and the beautiful linocuts of Yorkshire-based printmaker Izzy Williamson.

Expect:

Bumble is a biannual magazine that focuses on the beauty of nature whilst highlighting the wonderful wildlife we are surrounded by in the UK, especially those species that are struggling to survive.

 Highlight:

Being Leeds-based, how could we not put that beautiful Tawney Owl as our highlight?
