Millie Rothera is based here in West Yorkshire and the 'Unite' design used on this purse was inspired by modernist architect Le Corbusier’s Unite de Habitation housing complex in Marseilles, the pattern represents the windows, balconies and shutters of the building . Le Corbusier developed a structure for living when designing these apartments in collaboration, using built in furniture and storage to maximise space.
